Summerstage

Yesterday I decided to stop by Summerstage for the A-trak/Diplo/Santogold concert.

When I rolled up to the park, I saw literally hundreds of people waiting in line to go in. At first I was like, nah fuck that I’m not going to join that line to see a bunch of hipsters get silly. Then I took a seat in the park, smoked a joint and remebered that my girl’s mom’s co-worker (ill connects) was running the concession stand and we gave her a call and got in v.i.p satus.

I got there just as Kid Cudi started tearing the stage up.

Then Diplo followed up. The crowd was like this most of the time.

Then it was time for the main man himself A-trak to hit the 1’s and 2’s

Then Santogold came on to nuff big ups

One of my favorite rappers is Mf Doom. The first time I heared this dude, I was like “fuck is this shit”. Then I listened to a few more songs and began to love his flow. His beats are some of the craziest I’ve ever heared from any rapper out there. Plus he spits real shit, not some bullshit about getting money or having hoes. He’s one of the greatest to ever hit the mic. Plus he always reinvents himself, he has about 10 rapping names which makes him more unique than any other rapper out there.

Lo Fam

Today I was at this thrift store like always just browsing around and whatever when I came across this pair of green shorts. At first I was like eh, and kept on looking around the store but something just drew me back to those shorts. I decided to look at it and noticed that the material was real soft, like suede/cotton. I checked out the tag and it said “Chaps” Ralph Lauren. I asked the clerk at the front desk and she said some guy dropped it off a couple weeks ago and said it hasn’t fit him since 1992! So basically these shorts are 15+ years old.

Best part is that I paid $1
